Goals
For the Future
MiGMIS will be focusing on the following goals over the next two to three years:
- Hosting the international GMIS conference
- Co-sponsoring the Digital Summit with the State of Michigan
- Undertaking a membership campaign
- Conducting various surveys of government IT professionals across the State
- Preparing and issuing discussion papers covering critical topics
- Quarterly “lunch & learns” at universities in Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Marquette, Lansing, Detroit, Bay City, Kalamazoo, etc.
- Serving as the GMIS certification program administrator for Michigan
